University of Kansas Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little and the presidents of four other state universities are giving up their 2 percent pay raises approved by the Kansas Board of Regents.

It will likely cost more to attend public universities in Kansas next year. Regents institutions, like the University of Kansas, are seeking to increase in-state tuition by 3.6 percent for in-state undergraduate students. The tuition increase would cost most in-state students about $100 more per semester.
