Four public media stations in Kansas, including Kansas Public Radio, will receive a $502,327 grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) to establish a regional news collaboration.The partnership, led by KCUR in Kansas City, will produce multimedia reports on statehouse politics, health, education, natural resources, rural life, and agriculture. The CPB grant, which was announced in September, provides funds for the hiring of four journalists at the partner media outlets for two years, with station support continuing in outlying years.
