Dr. Eugenie Scott is the Executive Director of the National Center for Science Education, a pro-evolution organization based in Oakland, California. Her talk, "Faith, Reason, and Assumption in Understanding the Natural World," was part of the Difficult Dialogues series, co-sponsored by KU's Hall Center for the Humanities and the Biodiversity Institute.
