  • Classical music has always had a special place at KPR, and starting July 7, an exciting new classical music program will begin. This new program, called Classics Live, will be hosted by Darrell Brogdon, host of Retro Cocktail Hour, and produced by Cordelia Brown, KPR's evening classical music host. Classics Live will feature recordings of solo artists and group performances.
  • Governor Signs Funding Plan & Kansas Supreme Court Accepts Latest School Funding ChangesSupreme Court accepted changes made to Kansas' education funding system. The new plan increases the financial support for poorer districts by diverting funding from other areas of the state budget and also saves Kansas public schools from the threat of being shut down.
