KBI Arrests Ford, Kiowa County Deputy Arrested
KIOWA COUNTY, Kan. (KPR) - The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Kiowa and Ford County Sheriff's deputy. The KBI announced in a press release that 36-year-old Ryan Davis of Grand Island, Nebraska, was arrested Friday for aggravated endangering a child and two counts of domestic battery. In August 2021, the Kiowa County Sheriff's Office requested the KBI investigate allegations of domestic violence and child abuse. Davis is a full-time deputy for the Ford County sheriff's Office and a part-time deputy for the Kiowa County Sheriff's Office. Davis was booked into the Kiowa County Jail. The investigation is ongoing. The KBI says no further information will be released at this time.

KC Police Seek Public's Help in Search for Two Missing Men
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KPR) - Kansas City police are asking the public for help in finding a 51-year-old man missing since Wednesday. The Kansas City Star reports that Menno Yoder was last seen near Kansas City's downtown airport. The police are also searching for a missing 73-year-old man with dementia. Dennis Bryant was last seen on foot Friday in the Northland area of Kansas City. The Kansas City Star reports that Bryant has early dementia and may be unable to provide information beyond his name.

Topeka Man Jailed after Crashing into Mobile Home, Threatening Residents
TOPEKA, Kan. (KPR/WIBW) - A Topeka man is in jail after running his truck into a mobile home and threatening the residents with a chainsaw. WIBW TV reports that 20-year-old Jayden Robert Evans was arrested for aggravated assault, aggravated child endangerment, and other charges. In a separate incident, 26-year-old Charles Higgins and 23-year-old Kayley McDaniel, both of Topeka, area facing multiple charges following a home invasion in Topeka. KSNT reports that charges include aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, and aggravated assault.

Topeka Golfer Tied for Second at Scottish Open
UNDATED (KSN) - Former University of Kansas golfer Gary Woodland of Topeka is tied for second heading into the third round Saturday of the Scottish Open in North Berwick, Scotland. Woodland is at 4-under-par for the tournament and trailing the leader, Cameron Tringale by three strokes. After this weekend's Scottish Open, the British Open will take place at the Old Course at St. Andrews in Scotland next week. It's the last of pro golf's four major tournament this year.
