A new book called The Oregon Trail has become a best-seller. The book chronicles a modern-day journey down the famous pioneer path. Commentator Rex Buchanan recommends the book, which covers a lot of ground along the Oregon Trail, here in Kansas.


That's Commentator Rex Buchanan, talking about the new best-selling book The Oregon Trail, by Rinker Buck. Buchanan is the interim director of the Kansas Geological Survey at the University of Kansas. He's also a regular contributor to Kansas Public Radio.
