KS First Lady Launches Book Festival

Authors, readers and everyone who loves Kansas will find something to celebrate at a new event being championed by the state's First Lady. The Kansas Book Festival takes place tomorrow (SAT) at the Kansas Museum of History in Topeka. Mary Brownback says she got some inspiration for the event from reading another First Lady's book:

The festival features panel discussions with Kansas authors, storytime presentations for children, and more. A complete schedule of events and participants is available online at kansasbookfestival.com.

Stephen Koranda is KPR's Statehouse reporter.
