U.S. Secretaries of Agriculture, Part One

This week on KPR Presents, we'll hear from six former U.S. Secretaries of Agriculture, from the Landon Lecture Series at Kansas State University. The panel included native Kansan Dan Glickman, who served as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture from 1995 to 2001, and represented the 4th Congressional District of Kansas from 1977 to 1995. Other panelists include Mike Johanns, Ann Veneman, Ed Schafer, Mike Espy, and John Block. The panel was moderated by Dr. Barry Flinchbaugh, who teaches agricultural economics at Kansas State University. This Oct. 21, 2013, event marked the 163rd Landon Lecture at KSU. This program is the first in a two-part series; be sure to tune in next week for the panel's Q and A session.
