General Petraeus is the Commander of U.S. Central Command, assuming that position after 19 months as Commanding General of the Multi-National Force in Iraq. Petraeus gave the 153rd Landon Lecture at Kansas State University on April 27, 2009, focusing on the military challenges ahead in Iraq and Afghanistan.
