Waging War Against Fake News Will Take More Ammo

(Image created by J. Schafer)

Fake news is nothing new. There just seems to be a lot more of it these days. And, it's spreading faster than ever before. Commentator and educator John Richard Schrock has been helping his students wage war against fake news for a long time.

Commentator John Richard Schrock is an author and biology professor emeritus at Emporia State University. He lives in Emporia.

Production assistance for this commentary comes from KPR news interns Courtney Bierman and Cameron McGough, students studying journalism at the University of Kansas, and KPR News Director J. Schafer.
