Topeka police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery this (MON) morning. Around 8:00 the suspect allegedly robbed a Capital City Bank in downtown Topeka. Police say the suspect is described as a black male in his early 30s, 5’7”-5’9” tall, with an average build. He was wearing a gray v-neck shirt with a blue stripe near the neckline, black athletic-style shorts, black shoes, a black baseball hat and sunglasses, and was carrying a black bag. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say he did not display a weapon.
