Terrapins Coach Accustomed to Basketball Matchups Against Alma Mater

The University of Kansas Jayhawks practiced at the Yum! Center in Louisville this (WED) afternoon in preparation for their Sweet 16 game against Maryland in the NCAA tournament. Maryland is coached by Topeka native Mark Turgeon, who played at KU and coached at Wichita State. Later on, when Turgeon was the head coach at Texas A&M, he says he got used to routinely playing the Jayhawks.

The Jayhawks and Terrapins are scheduled to tip off around 8:40 tomorrow (THUR) night.
