Shadowy "Stoker" a Stylish Twist on Teen Angst

Hollywood has a particular affinity for coming-of-age stories. Think "The Last Picture Show, "American Graffiti,"or "Stand By Me." Film critic Abby Olcese (OHL-chess-ee) says that the new movie "Stoker" is an unsettling, if stylish, addition to the genre.

"Stoker" is showing at Liberty Hall in Lawrence through Thursday. Showtimes are available online at libertyhall.net. More of movie reviewer Abby Olcese's work is online at nomorepopcorn.wordpress.comand at movieboozer.com.
