The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is offering a monetary incentive to anyone with information on an arson fire set at a mosque in Wichita last October. Trista Frederick is with the ATF office in Kansas City:
Frederick says the ATF has posted a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for that fire, and the $150,000 worth of damage it caused to the mosque. What's more, Frederick says the agency is also offering a $10,000 reward for information about a fire at a Manhattan apartment building last November. She says estimates of the damage at the Strasser Apartments exceeded $2.7 million.
