Photo Exhibit at Avila University Shows Views of Iraq

Pictures of the Middle East seem to be everywhere these days. Each day brings news about refugees, conflict and despair. It can be easy to forget that the countries people are fleeing aren't just the sum of these images. These places are also filled with a rich history and great works of art. KPR News Intern Kristin Selby says the people who've left their nations behind haven't left their cultural heritage behind.

The photography exhibit "Iraq: Infinite Civilization" is on display at the Thornhill Gallery at Avila University in Kansas City, now through February 4. For more information, visit the Thornhill Gallery website.
