Paul Davis Dismisses Strip Club Report

Democratic gubernatorial candidate candidate Paul Davis is calling "irrevelant" reports that he was in a strip club in 1996 when it was raided.  According to today's (SUN) Kansas City Star, Davis said his law firm was representing the owner of the club when it was raided and that a recent Coffeyville Journal story about the incident is part of a "desperate smear campaign" against him.  Davis is challenging Republican Governor Sam Brownback in the upcoming election.
