NASCAR Dates Announced For Kansas Speedway in 2017

As Kansas Speedway prepares to host an event this weekend, the dates for the 2017 NASCAR season have been announced. The Kansas Speedway event for October of next year has been pushed back a week, but the races will have more meaning and more will be at stake for the drivers in The Chase. That's NASCAR’s version of the playoffs. Kansas Speedway president Pat Warren says the change is beneficial for race fans in this area.

Night races are scheduled at Kansas Speedway this weekend, with the Toyota Tundra 250 truck competition tomorrow (FRI) night and the Go Bowling 400 Sprint Cup event on Saturday night.
