For more than 40 years, University of Kansas associate professor John Tibbetts has been creating portraits of the actors, authors and filmmakers he's interviewed for his classes and other projects. Now, a selection of those portraits will be on display at the Kansas City Central Library through the end of January.

A Lifetime at the Movies, Captured in Portraits
University of Kansas associate professor John Tibbetts is not just a teacher, author, and broadcaster...he's also a gifted artist. A retrospective of his portraits of movie stars, film directors, musicians and authors is going on display at the downtown Kansas City Public Library this weekend.
