KU Prof to Stage Portrait Display at KC Library

For more than 40 years, University of Kansas associate professor John Tibbetts has been creating portraits of the actors, authors and filmmakers he's interviewed for his classes and other projects. Now, a selection of those portraits will be on display at the Kansas City Central Library through the end of January.

The exhibition is called "Star-Gazing," and runs from tomorrow (SAT) through January 31. For more information, visit the Kansas City Public Library website.

A Lifetime at the Movies, Captured in Portraits

University of Kansas associate professor John Tibbetts is not just a teacher, author, and broadcaster...he's also a gifted artist. A retrospective of his portraits of movie stars, film directors, musicians and authors is going on display at the downtown Kansas City Public Library this weekend.
