Kansas Highway Patrol Has Largest Training Class Ever

This summer, 45 recruits are slated to begin training to become state troopers after Governor Sam Brownback signed a new law increasing vehicle registration fees to help boost the number of troopers on patrol. As KPR’s Stephen Koranda reports, the patrol hopes this will help turn around a trooper shortage.
