Candidates for the Kansas Legislature will discuss criminal justice reform at candidate forums in Lawrence and Topeka. DeAnn Smith, with the ACLU, says the goal is to help voters better understand criminal justices issues.

Thursday's candidate forum in Lawrence will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church.

Another candidate forum on criminal justice will be held Tuesday of next week at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library.
