Winter weather continues throughout Kansas this weekend, making holiday travel hazardous.  Periods of drizzle, freezing rain, and sleet are expected today (SAT), and are being blamed for numerous traffic accidents, including two Thanksgiving Day fatalities.  The National Weather Service has extended a winter weather advisory for much of central and eastern Kansas; the Kansas City area and the eastern tier of Kansas counties are under a freezing rain advisory. Those advisories will expire at 6 pm today (SAT).
