K-State Gets Federal Grant to Help Insure More Kansas Children

Kansas State University has been awarded a federal grant to help get more eligible children enrolled in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program, or CHIP. As Heartland Health Monitor’s Bryan Thompson explains, the “Connecting Kids to Coverage” grant is worth nearly a million dollars.

Bryan Thompson is a reporter for the KHI News Service in Topeka.  He's also the former health reporter for #MyKPR and its network of stations.
