Former ProPublica Editor to Speak at KU

(Flickr Photo by luca.sartoni) A prize-winning news editor will speak on the new era of digital journalism tomorrow (FRI) at the University of Kansas. Paul Steiger was the founding editor-in-chief, CEO and president of ProPublica, a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalism organization. Steiger says some people believe the news industry could be entering a new golden era of digital journalism.

Steiger will speak at the Alderson Auditorium at the KU Memorial Union. He’s receiving the William Allen White Foundation National Citation. His speech will follow the award presentation at 10:30 a.m.
