Going into conference play in men’s college basketball, the highest ranked Division I team in Kansas is Wichita State. The Shockers are ranked eighth in this week’s A-P poll. Last (THUR) night, the Shockers beat Southern Illinois, 82-to-67. Conference action begins for some Big 12 teams this weekend, including K-State. The Kansas Jayhawks still have one, non-conference game to go before its first Big 12 match-up.
