Candidates for Governor Bring Big Names to KS

Congressman Paul Ryan will be in Kansas this week in support of Governor Sam Brownback. (Photo from paulryan.house.gov) The next election for Kansas governor is just over a year away, but campaign fundraising has started. As KPR’s Stephen Koranda reports, the candidates are already bringing in supporters with name recognition.

Also running for governor are Libertarian candidates Tresa McAlhaney and Keen Umbehr.

Stephen Koranda is KPR's Statehouse reporter.
