Board of Ed Considers Separate High School Education Tracks

The Kansas Board of Education is considering a plan that would develop two separate tracks for high school students. One would prepare students for college, while another would ready them for technical training or careers. Board Member Walt Chappell supports the idea.

But some board members are concerned that the technical track wouldn’t prepare students for university coursework if they later decide to pursue college.
