His previous novels, The Rosie Project and The Rosie Effect, were international best sellers. The character, Don Tillman, identifies as autistic.


Conversations: Leonard "Kris" Krishtalka on Current and Future Novels

On this edition of Conversations, I'll talk with Leonard “Kris” Krishtalka. You may know him as the Director of KU’s Biodiversity Institute, but did you know he is an author of both fiction and non-fiction? He joins us to talk about his series of novels featuring the Private Investigator Harry Przewalski and a historical fiction novel based on a murder case in 1871 Lawrence.

On this edition of Conversations, Brian Calhoun talks about Little Joe Chickapig: A Story about Following Your Dreams. Calhoun is a luthier and game-creator-turned-author. He has custom designed guitars for world-famous musicians, including Dave Matthews, Jason Mraz and Keith Urban. He collaborated with Dave Matthews to create the Chickapig board game, which led to the creation of this children’s book.


Conversations: Greg Iles, "Cemetery Road"

On this edition of Conversations, Greg Iles talks about his latest novel, Cemetery Road. Iles is the author of 16 New York Times best sellers, including the Penn Cage series. He also discusses performing with the rock band, "The Rock Bottom Remainders," made up of "little known" authors/musicians like Stephen King, Dave Barry, Scott Turrow, Amy Tan, Roy Blount, Jr. and others.
