Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach and Governor Sam Brownback have unveiled a new state website designed to help businesses comply with state regulations more easily. The site compiles documents and resources from various state agencies into one single location. Kobach says the new Kansas Business Center link has been in development for more than a year.
“This kind of cooperation between the secretary of state's office and the governor’s office and those agencies is absolutely essential, and I can't underscore enough how one agency can’t do this alone. It’s an attempt to bridge the silos of government,” says Kobach.
Governor Brownback says the state's providing many of the forms for small businesses in one place will make it easier to launch new ventures.
The new website's address is kansas.gov/business (“Kansas dot gov slash business”).
