Kansas officials, including Governor Sam Brownback, are watching the developments closely to see if more Boeing jobs could be brought back to the state.
There are some reports that Boeing officials are already meeting with representatives of other states. Early last year, Boeing announced it would pull out of Wichita, eventually affecting around 2,000 jobs and ending a decades-long connection between the company and the Wichita area.
