Photo by Stephen KorandaThe clock is ticking. Tuesday is the Kansas deadline for registering to vote in the upcoming election. Some voter advocacy groups have been working hard in these last few days to get people registered. Marge Ahrens (AHR-ens) is with the League of Women Voters of Topeka and Shawnee County. She says when in doubt, fill out a new registration form.
“So make sure that if you haven’t voted for a few years, you’ve changed your name or you’ve moved, that you re-register to vote”.
Kansans can register to vote at county election offices or online at the Kansas secretary of state’s website.
