That’s according to Kansas State University Political Science Professor Joe Aistrup (A-strup). Brownback has endorsed conservative candidates who are trying to unseat moderate Republicans in the state senate. And according to Aistrup, if moderates keep control of the Senate, they'll be less inclined to support Brownback’s priorities.
The primary election is August 7.
