In the House, 21 districts pit sitting lawmakers against each other. Another 25 of the 125 districts contain no incumbent representative at all. The judges also drew new congressional districts. The plan would put Lawrence entirely in the 2nd Congressional District. The map would also move Riley County from the 2nd to the 1st District of western and central Kansas.
