Tax Compromise in Kansas Statehouse Could Be Falling Apart

 

Sxc.hu photo by Matt AielloThis week House and Senate negotiators reached a tax-cutting compromise as an alternative to a massive tax reduction plan waiting on the desk of Governor Sam Brownback. The governor has said he will sign the bill on his desk, but he’s now urging legislators to pass the smaller tax compromise. But as KPR’s Stephen Koranda tells us, the agreement could be on shaky ground.
