It would also reduce and eventually eliminate income taxes for 190,000 businesses in Kansas. The compromise is an alternative to a massive tax-cutting bill awaiting Governor Sam Brownback’s signature. But as KPR’s Stephen Koranda tells us, passage of the compromise isn't a sure thing.
