Maria Carlson is professor of Slavid Lanuuages at the University of Kansas. She spoke on Russia's search for identity following the collapse of communism and the end of the Cold War. Carlson's talk was the final Hall Humanities Lecture of the 2006-07 year on April 10th, 2007.
