Employees of the Cosmosphere space museum in Hutchinson are helping to recreate one of the biggest moments in our nation’s space history -- the mission control room used during the first moon landing. The famous control room consoles are at the Cosmosphere’s SpaceWorks restoration facility where they are getting restored piece by piece. The team members in charge of the project are craftsmen who specialize in artifact restoration, preservation and fabrication. Deborah Shaar has more.
