Advocates Protest Westar's Proposed Rate Hike for Solar Power Users

Solar energy advocates are protesting Westar Energy’s latest rate proposal. About 100 opponents of the proposal rallied in Wichita yesterday (THUR) to urge state regulators to deny the power company’s request. They say the surcharge would be unfair to customers who use solar energy.  Brian Grimmett of the Kansas News Service reports.
