Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach continues to support a plan by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to build a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico. Kobach’s support for the wall has drawn harsh criticism from the several of the top Democrats in Kansas. Kerry Gooch, the executive director of the Kansas Democratic Party, says Kobach has made it apparent he shares Trump’s philosophy.
Gooch points to a recent Pew poll that shows 6 out 10 Americans do not support Trump’s proposal for a wall along the US southern border.
