Farmers in Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa are now battling a damaging, new corn disease. It's the first time this disease has ever been confirmed in the U.S. But as Harvest Public Media's Grant Gerlock reports, it appears to be spreading in the heart of the Corn Belt.

Officials say the bacterial disease is affecting corn crops in Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Texas, Illinois and South Dakota.
