All major wildfires that had been burning in Kansas are now contained and under control. That's according to Ben Bauman, the spokesman for the Kansas Division of Emergency Management.
A grass fire flared-up early this (WED) morning near the town of Alma in Wabaunsee County, but local firefighters were able to bring it under control. Bauman says the massive wildfire burning in northwest Oklahoma is no longer presenting a threat to counties in southern Kansas.
