TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — Topeka police are investigating after a body was found in a car in a grocery store parking lot. Police say officers were called to the store on a report of a suspicious vehicle Monday and found the man's body inside. Police have not released the victim's identity or cause of death and say the investigation is ongoing. Officer Derek Frisby told The Topeka Capital-Journalthat the vehicle has Riley County tags, and the body had been in the parking lot anywhere from a few days to possibly a week.
