Juana Summers is a reporter for NPR, as well as a frequent guest host of C-SPAN's 'Washington Journal.' An NPR reporter from Washington, D.C., is joining a panel of journalists this week for a presentation at the University of Kansas. Juana (WAH-nuh) Summers covers national politics for NPR.
Summers will be joined by reporters from the New York Times, the Kansas City Star and Time magazine at 7:30 Wednesday night at the Dole Institute of Politics on the KU campus. The public is invited.

KU Hosts Journalism & Politics Lecture: Media & the Midterms
This Wednesday, the University of Kansas presents a panel discussion on journalism and politics. NPR political correspondent Juana Summers will join three other reporters to talk about the midterm elections, including some tight races here in Kansas.
Summers and three other national reporters will present their views at 7:30 Wednesday night at the Dole Institute of Politics on the KU campus. The event, called "The Media and the Midterms," is free and open to the public.
