Mother Earth News, the Topeka-based magazine about sustainable living, is holding a two-day fair at Buford Watson Park Saturday and Sunday. Publisher Bryan Welch says fairgoers will find all kinds of information on how to live a simpler, more sustainable life.

Mother Earth News' Sustainability Fair in Lawrence
Thousands of people interested in sustainable living are expected in downtown Lawrence this weekend for the Mother Earth News Fair. The Topeka-based magazine has organized similar fairs elsewhere, but this marks the first time the event has been held in the Midwest. Along with 200 vendors, the fair features information about living simply and sustainably. Lawrence resident Bryan Welch is the publisher of Mother Earth News.
