Kansas high school students will gather in Lawrence this weekend for a student film competition. The 7th annual " Focus Film Festival" will be held Sunday afternoon at Liberty Hall. The event honors student film makers in a number of categories - from comedies and drama to documentaries and animated features. KPR's J. Schafer reports.

Liberty Hall Hosts 7th "Focus Film Festival" on Sunday
The 7th Annual "Focus Film Festival" gets underway this Sunday in Lawrence. The film fest features the best work of high school students, mostly those from northeast Kansas. KPR's J. Schafer recently spoke with one of the organizers of the awards competition, a film and audio instructor at Lawrence High.
