This week, an encore broadcast of our tribute to two-time Academy Award winner Franz Waxman.  Beginning as an orchestrator for film scores, he soon graduated to writing his own movie music, including scores for such films as The Bride of Frankenstein, Sunset Boulevard, A Place in the Sun, Rear Window and Peyton Place.
