World Cello Day September 19, 2017

Topeka Symphony principal cellist Eman Chalshotori stopped by the KPR studio to preview
World Cello Day at the Lawrence Arts Center Sept. 21. He played Bach's Suite No. 3, and
Ellen Lind talked to Michael Keelan about the event.

Then KU emeritus professor Ed Laut and faculty Jack Winerock played part of Brahms's second cello sonata,
featured on the Alice Downs Memorial Concert Sept. 24 at 2:30 at KU's Swarthout Recital Hall.

Saxophone professor Vince Gnojek joined Holly Page for the Amy Quate piece, "Light of Sothis."
