Soloists from the International Center for Music at Park University visited KPR ahead
of their concert at the Kauffman Center April 27 with the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra.
Mansur Kadirov played Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations, followed by pianist and Van Cliburn
medalist Kenny Broberg in Schubert's Gb Impromptu. Igor Khukhua, violin, joined his wife
Evangelia Delezongas Khukhua for Mendelssohn's violin concerto. Michael Keelan talked with
conductor Bruce Sorrell and Park's violin professor Ben Sayevich.
