Miles Swaminathan live at Kansas Public Radio January 6, 2020

Kansas City pianist Miles Swaminathan came to play Debussy, Chopin, Liszt and Norman Dello Joio
for us before his winter break ended at Olathe Northwest High School.  An active sophomore at age 15
Miles is already well on his way to becoming a top concert pianist.   Currently studying piano with
Professor of Piano at UMKC Conservatory of Music, Dr Robert Weirich, Miles is working on the
Mendelssohn Piano Concerto No 1.   Miles Swaminathan has played at the Kauffman Center for the
Performing Arts as part of their 2019 Future Stages Festival, and he is representing Kansas this year
in the Music Teacher's National Association West Central Division for Senior Piano Competition.
Miles also enjoys golfing, working out, and spending time with family.
