Despite losing the core of last year's team, the Kansas Jayhawks were still co-favorites to win another Big 12 regular season championship this season. And they did. In fact, KU captured its eighth straight Big 12 title. But few experts were able to predict just how far KU would advance in the NCAA tournament.
