When life gets hectic, remember to slow down for a few minutes and breathe deeply. Tonight, just before 6:30, step outside, look to the west and try to catch the next great Kansas sunset. If you've lived here long, you already know that some of our Kansas sunsets are simply spectacular. Others are so-so and once in a while, we might even get a real dud. No matter. Stepping outside and getting some fresh air will bring you all kinds of health benefits. Connecting with nature, even if it's ever-so-briefly, will do you good. It will do wonders for your mind and spirit. So, go ahead. Relax your mind. Unwind. And leave the worries of the day behind, even if it's only for a little while. Here's hoping you have a splendid sunset and a few moments of peace tonight, when day is finally done.
